Update: A personal note from the Relax to the Max director, Eric Brown…
As the director, I’m proud of Relax to the Max’s pioneering role in chair massage in Canada. We were the first ones to bring chair massage in the corporate environment and the first in North America to offer a specialized entry-level training program in chair massage.
I’ve been able to have an impact on thousands of massage practitioners and their clients through other projects I’ve developed over the years including Massage Therapy Radio, BodyworkBiz, Thermal Palms and the World Massage Conference (the largest event in the history of massage three years in row).
Recently I’ve been commissioned to write two massage textbooks for a large American publisher including a Chair Massage textbook for use in massage schools. I’ll also be developing curriculum to help instructors at these schools teach chair massage more effectively. Given the time commitments for these projects, I don’t feel that I can give the Relax to the Max professional training program all the love and attention it deserves.
So I’m making the difficult decision to suspend professional training classes for 2012. Even though we won’t be running professional training programs, we haven’t gone away. We are still here for you and our support staff is available to answer any questions you have.

The Relax to the Max Guide to Chair Massage Techniques is two volume DVD set for massage professionals who want to use the specially designed massage chair. The techniques taught in the Massage Anywhere Anytime DVD are super easy to learn and require no special equipment. In addition, if you are a massage therapist that would like to learn how to do chair massage as part of your continuing education, I recommend workshops through TouchPro. This is a fine organization headed by David Palmer, the "Father of Chair Massage" and a person who has been a great inspiration for the work I do. After some time off, he's doing workshops again througought the USA and Canada.
